Ace Appliance Service - Appliance Service & Refrigerator Repair Companies in Lexington, KY

I had my refrigerator worked on by Ace appliance Repair. 189.00 to defrost it! Less than a month later it’s freezing up again. During the repair I continued to ask what caused the issue and he said it was because there was debris in the drain tube. I’ve tried to repeatedly call them, it goes directly to voice mail and the voice mail is full, so I’ve also tried to text, no answer. I’m reporting them to the BBB. Not sure if that will do anything. I called them and they came out the same day. They had the parts on them and did it very fast. I am very happy for their service. Will look forward to calling them again.

Only use this company if you have $ to give away. They are reasonably priced, make accurate diagnostics and gladly accept service calls fee. However, they are overbooking. Late. Not BBB accredited. And, full of lame excuses to be considered professionals and/or reputable! If you search the Internet for Pro appliance, somehow this company receives your call after you enter your info. While a competent assessment was made for repairing my washer and the service call was paid promptly, I was robbed (legally of course)! 1st warning sign: arrived late, i.e., 30 minutes afters service call; 2nd warning sign: while explaining the issue and repair, tech misquoted service call fee several times; 3rd warning sign: very boastful of easily problem occurs and it being a simple fix as well as how the replacement part he uses would be much better than the original part; 4th warning sign: promised to return the next day before 1pm to make repair; 5th warning sign: did not provide receipt for cash payment or business card only his word that he would definitely return the next day before 1pm; 6th warning sign: no follow-up about his delay. Three days of my initiating contact to check status of repair completion I got excuse after excuse until he stopped answering my calls. Two weeks later, I am still unable to wash at home!

I called Ace Appliance and set up an appointment on Friday Oct. 30th. The appointment started off well the repair tech arrived on time. But during the repair he told me it was a recall item. And this is where the new issue started, when pushing back my refrigerator he pulled out the copper water line. Water was flowing all over my kitchen. The repair man had me hold the water line while he went to cut off the water. He then said he didn't have the parts to fix the water line and would come back on Oct. 31st after his other appointments. He would be by around 11:00 am to fix the water line. So i waited 4 hours past 11:00 am and then I called the tech several times and never got an answer. Then I called the main office and the man who answered said that he would call the tech and then get back with me. I didn't receive a call back after that, I called the main line several times and nothing. I got on there web site and sent an email still no reply. I had to call another company (plumbing) "Clog Busterz" (excellent business) to fix the issues left by Ace Appliance. To sum up don't use Ace Appliance Repair/ Service, unless you like to disappointed and left waiting with no response.
