Sears Auto Center

l liked this store because it had a good variety of articles for the home and garden among other items, at reasonable prices and when I didnt find something on stock I would find mist of the times what I needed in their website and was able to pick it up in the store. My favorite brand in Sears is Craftsman, which of only one or two other stores in town are retailers but not with an inventory as big as theirs. The 4 stars is because if the appliances service which were always delayed for pieces that usually took long to receive and sometimes too expensive.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. We have been dealing with Sears in Topeka for a moth. Bought a refrigerator that we were told was brand new. Got it home and t never got cold. The repair man came out and said this was not new, we were lied to! He fixes it for the time being. All except the ice maker. Now two weeks later we have no working fridge again! According to them them I could returned it last week but not this week!

My retired mother/father can not get Sears to acknowledge they are even valid customers. They have a warranty and they won't even look at the receipt. Pitiful standards for basic business operations. I uploaded her story as photos on this review since it will not allow me to attach it directly.

The lady at the store was very helpful when we were purchasing a washer/dryer. But then not too long after we received the washer (just long enough for the 30 days to be up because when you first get something you think maybe you just aren't doing it right) we realized it was just a terrible washer in general because I've been washing everything on delicates and it still tears up my clothes. So even though it's terrible we are already past the 30 day deadline to return it. Then only 8 months into having it, the washer actually does start messing up (screeching really loudly on spin cycle). So when I call to see what they can do their only option is to have it repaired even though I would rather exchange it for a completely different washer. And they will not allow you to do that even if you have a great reason for wanting to completely be rid of it. Just wanted to share my frustration for all their lousy deadlines and restrictions. Oh, and on top of that, while I was finally coming to the conclusion of my call to just get my washer serviced because that's all I could do, the call was dropped and nobody called me back even though they had my number.
