Horrible company to rent from. My mom is disabled and when I came to visit from Hawaii and seen the conditions of the home I was in shock!! Surprised the property can even legally be rented out. The place was cleaner when we moved out than it was before moving in!! And they still kept my deposit.

- I was charged 45 dollar twice because according to THEIR app I didn't have enough funds in my bank account, which was a lie.
- I asked to move to another apartment and was charged 180 dollar cleaning fee for an apartment of the size of an egg. Even worst is that I cleaned it before I left.
- They kept holding the security deposity and made up excuses to not return
- Don't answer messages and its a pain until you actually talk to the person you need because you need to convince the minion that always anwsers the phone to transfer to the actual person
Simple put, use other company. Headache is not worth it.

Would never recommend to anyone. Helped my bf & spent weeks cleaning my prior to moving out. He was charged for things that were deeply cleaned and replaced. Carpets in the apartment were stained and trashed, & was charged for it after moving out. It’s like they just have a list and select a bunch of things to charge tenants for thinking that nobody will pay attention to it. The only thing that is good about this company is how helpful the maintenance is. Can’t say anything good about the employees/ property managers. Honestly surprised Pro-X even has 3 stars….. I don’t know if we’re dealing with the same people.

SLUMLORDS! Wow, where do I even begin. We began renting through Pro X in 2019 and we encountered NUMEROUS issues with this company. To start, our first house had ridiculous plumbing issues that we had reported in November, but it never got fixed until late January of 2020. I was very pregnant during this time and was forced to go to friends’ houses to use the restroom or take a shower. Like, really? It literally took them THREE MONTHS to fix the issue. We told them many times that we were still having issues with our toilet and shower, and they took forever to get back to us about the issue. When they finally checked it out, the plumbers had found that the pipes in the house were extremely old and worn down which was the cause of the plumbing problems. Pro X tried to blame the extreme wear on the pipes on US when the plumbers clearly stated that the pipes were very old, and that damage could not be caused by us. They also wanted us to pay for the damages when nothing was our fault (luckily we didn't). Our dishwasher had many issues as well and it took a month for them to send somebody to fix it. Basically, if you need something fixed, don't count on them to do it in a timely manner and definitely expect them to blame you for everything.
We had to rent from them for another year, and we had more issues with them at our next place. Our ceiling fan light suddenly stopped working so we put in a work order, and while we were away from the house, they sent somebody out to fix it. We were out of town for that weekend and when we got home our front door was left WIDE OPEN. Somehow nothing was stolen out of our house thank God, but literally anybody could have walked in our house and destroyed our stuff or stolen anything. We complained about this and they said that we left the door open (when we knew for sure that we completely locked up the house when we left) and the worker kept it open because they thought we were “out for a walk or something”. What is wrong with you? Why would anybody assume something like that and leave a house completely open like that? So, once again, any problems you have will get blamed on you.
This company and their workers are absolutely awful, they lack common sense and courtesy for others. Oh, and don’t expect to get very much of your deposit back from them. You could hire somebody to perfectly clean your house and they’ll still charge you $300 for cleaning fees. Absolutely horrible company and the employees are some of the worst people you will ever come across. They must offer bonuses to their employees for being extremely rude and unhelpful to their tenants or something, because it’s absolutely absurd that they treat their tenants so horribly. Luckily, we’re now in a beautiful house that’s through a private landlord and not with this awful company anymore. If you’re thinking of renting through them, literally go ANYWHERE else. Save yourself the time, money, and sanity, and don’t rent from Pro X.
