I used Dr. O'Neil for many years. His practice is clean and always well kept. The front office staff is extremely kind and the dental hygienists are excellent and friendly. Dr. O'Neil seems like a caring doctor and generally speaking did a fine job. The reason I provided a 3 start rating is due to the Doctor. He's clearly talented and knows about 100,000 times more about oral health than myself...but, in my 30+ years of visiting doctors, I've never once got in an altercation of any kind. However, I've also never been treated with such disrespect. My tooth needed a root canal. I was careless and didn't get the procedure done in time. When questioning the doctor about why this tooth may have broken down sooner than others...he responded by saying, "this is on you. And, honestly I'm not really sure why that matters." The doctor then proceeded to suggest I had a propensity to treat his front office staff 'tough' and to bring all issues to him. I had zero clue what he's referring to other than a bill dispute stemming from a procedure years prior. I also have friends who have used this practice with questioning regarding the quality of the work. In my opinion, after switching dentists...I 100% made the right decision. The care is superior across the board and the pricing is similar.

Who likes going to the dentist? This girl does now thanks to Blue Valley Dentistry. The space is clean and inviting with an almost spa like atmosphere. Everyone from the receptionist to billing to the hygienists are so nice and friendly. They use hydrotherapy to clean teeth which is amazing. Instead of the constant scraping they use powerful water that leaves my teeth squeaky clean.

Please try to avoid this place. They are not what the reviews online are saying about them They have 5 starts all over the net, which are not real reviews. These guys messed up my root canal made me for all the surgery they did.

I finally sucked up my fear and went to a dentist. It had been almost 2 years and I knew the usual "You need to floss more" talk was coming. Luckily though, it wasn't no where near as bad as some dentists talks are. I came in for the usual clean and check up and I am definitely pleased. I had some stains on my teeth(curse you coffee and tea) and they were removed. And to my surprise, I got a free whitening kit for being a new patient I believe. Yay free stuff!!!The Dr. O'neil and his staff were super friendly and not in the "oh we just want your money" way. Needless to say, I will be returning!

Dr. O'Neil and his staff are the best in Kansas City. If you are searching for an Overland Park dentist, Blue Valley Cosmetic & Family Dentistry is the place to go. The staff is the most professional and friendly of any business or medical office we have ever been visited. My wife was afraid of dentists but has no more fear. They handle all of our family dentist needs. Just about every person in their office knows us by name. We look forward to our checkups and getting our teeth cleaned. Oh yeah, my wife had Invisalign braces and her teeth look fantastic, so if you are looking for Kansas City Invisalign service, Dr. Todd O'Neil is the dentist to see!
