Shame on you for taking people's money and not Putting in a pool that they payed for. I hope your sued big time

I cannot recommend Heartland Pool and Spa. We signed a contract with Heartland in April of 2021 and our pool is still not complete. Our original completion date was spring of 2022, then end of September and then end of October. Unfortunately, we had to hire an attorney after the third promised date passed and Heartland stopped communicating with us. They have failed to even respond to our attorney. Please do your research outside of these Google reviews as many of the positive reviews appear to be from the owners and their family. I would highly recommend reviewing Yelp, BBB complaints and Johnson County Court records. Many recent experiences look similar to ours. Edit: Heartland, thanks for your response. This is the first time we have heard from you in months and you have yet to respond to our attorney. Our pool is still not complete. While you apologize, you are not attempting to complete the job you contracted with us. We did not submit any change orders. The only changes made were to correct faulty workmanship. Also, the pandemic was in 2020. It is currently 2023. If you would like to continue airing our grievances via Google review, please respond. Otherwise, you have our contact information. Best. I have known Wade and Lynda for 9 years and although we do not have our own pool, due to yard size, I can attest to their character as business owners and friends.  We have seen some of the pools that Heartland has designed and built, and they are beautiful.  Like so many other local business owners, Heartland Pool and Spa struggled during the years of the pandemic.  I witnessed their struggles.  It was sad to see the bad reviews from customers who were not a bit understanding of the circumstances that Heartland was facing, one of the biggest being the national supply chain issue.  As we all know, many small businesses had to shut down in response to the coronovirus outbreak. Heartland Pool and Spa continued to work with their customers in an attempt to finish their pools or make things right.
