Rodeway Inn - Closed

Terrible. At first this place seemed clean enough for the price. I've been trying to get the refund I was promised on 8/13/21 for nearly a month now. The manager on duty at the time, Crystal (who was the one good thing about this place), supposedly issued me a refund after I found several bed bugs on the bedsheets and the bathroom sink pipes leaked all over the floor. I was originally booked in a different room, but an employee had left a giant bag of trash in the room and it smelled terrible, so Crystal switched my room. I emailed Sam Malik, the general manager listed on the printout Crystal gave me before I left and never received a response. I just called on 9/8/21 at 3:30pmCST and was told by the extremely rude person (male) over the phone that I haven't gotten a response to my email because "Sam never gives refunds." He asked why I wanted a refund in the first place so I told him about the bed bugs and the sink plumbing leaking all over the floor to which he responded "I doubt that." I then asked for his name and he hung up on me.

Very decent motel for the price. The owners take good care of it. Everything was clean and nice. They also serve breakfast!
