AMC Southern Hills 12

Definitely upgraded since it was changed from a carmike. Heated reclining seats. Armrests without cupholders flip up so you can get cozy with your date. It was a nice little feature I discovered on accident during one of my visits. When booking seats ahead of time, they show up as the seats paired together. Fairly clean considering the disasters some guests leave. My only complaint is that it still has the same bathrooms from way back when that give off a bit of a horror movie vibe.

My experience was a little disorganized. They were not taking tickets in the booth. They were taking tickets at the concession counter. Overall, condition of the theater was pretty dirty at 6:45 p.m. I really enjoy AMC theaters. I'm not so impressed with this one. When I was finished with the movie I went out to use the restroom and it seemed to be out of order so I had to go to a different one. When I got to the different one. It was full of people of course.

Broken seats, no hot food, flashing light in isle in theater 9 and the Icee machine was down. Mind you this was opening Friday of the new Batman movie at 5:00pm.
