AMC CLASSIC Southridge 12

Some people are giving this theater bad reviews but I dont really understand why. This theater is great, considering how low budget it is and the location. I went to see the Batman movie March 15th with a few of my buddies. This was an amazing experience and Im definitely coming back

Floors sticky, this place has been falling apart, it's said I remember the old theater in the mall. And they built this one, was fine til everything went down 2020, just fine... drinks way out priced snake we took our own... so sad how this theater went down hill... there even seats that had been closed off with Caution tape... also seats were torn up... I had never given a 1 star in a theater

20 dollar bucket and they charge you for the freaken lid? Glad we can save a turtle with the nasty tasting cardboard straws though. Guess there will plenty for this summer to catch to make a good stew. Horrible theater turned into money scam.

Pulling up to see next to nobody here on a Friday night....not a good sign. Several of the front entrance doors are locked and it barely even looks like they are open. Dark and depressing in the lobby, clearly trying to save money on power. LED boards outside the theaters aren't turned on and there aren't many signs showing you where to go. The hallways, bathroom, etc didn't seem overly dirty to me but they are clearly very old and worn out. The theater itself was totally fine, however. Seats are old but comfortable enough, wasn't dirty, temp was fine. Random dirty spots on the screen but otherwise it looked and sounded fine. The ticket was pretty cheap at 7.49 so overall I enjoyed the experience and would come back. If you can get past the eerie feeling it is a great deal (on the ticket itself, small popcorn is more than the ticket). I have no doubts this place will be on abandoned YouTube in a few years though. You can just feel it won't be much longer. Really a shame considering how popular this place probably was when it first opened.
