        Had lunch there a couple of weeks ago. Had the chef salad and it was good, no issues. The pool table can be a little distracting if you're sitting on that side of the room. The host was very cordial. Would eat there again.

        No longer the Golden Egg, but now the Vernon Bar & Grill serving the the Mt. Vernon Road in SE Cedar Rapids. Enjoyed a nice visit with the owner this morning after Church.

        Foods not bad for a little diner style place. They have switched it over to kind of a bar but the selection isn't what you would get at a full service bar.
