1st Ave draght house

I was in this place around New Years and it was great and I knew it would be the moment I entered. 4 weeks later that all changed, not so great, and barely any customers at all. I don't think the owner really knows what she is doing cause of what they did to their menu. They still have a pretty good beer selection though.

Iv always had a good time here. Been here about 10 times and always got good food/service. Though Iv never been here late at night or on the weekend. Hard to overlook the other reviews. But never had or seem anything like this. Hope it stays that way.

Decent beer specials, $2.75 for large domestic draught. Some goofy DJ guy doing trivia stuff. Busy for a Wednesday night.

The service was disparaging and poorly educated on the beer selection that they offered. For the record and to clear the air - Mondays they offer 1/2 price appetizers *however one of the apps is not part of this discount despite not being written or clearly mentioned anywhere. This led to quite a bit of frustration considering the surprise and because of the short staff our already seemingly negative waitress was behind with the closure of our tab. All of the small things matter and they couldn't get the big things right, so if you are looking for a nice sit spot without pushy wait staff then I encourage you to GO ELSEWHERE. This was not our first time here and these issues were consistent throughout each visit.

The Draught House had an amazing special on Saturday and Sunday. It was a burger and homemade chips basket that was amazing! I took friends and family there claiming it was the best in town! So when I had the chance to purchase a groupon for $20 worth of food for $12 I bought two of them. When I went to use the coupons, the special wasn't available. I was informed that the Draught House was under new management and had a new menu. The food was OK. Nothing special. Unless someone really wants to go there I probably won't go back.
