Had a delightful conversation this morning with Ms. Frederick herself, Ms. Mary Jo Frederick of Flowers by Frederick, which has been somewhat of an institution there in Bettendorf for 50 years, give or take a year or two. I called her in a panic as my 86 year old mother's birthday is today, and I am overseas working abroad, and Mary Jo saved my bacon by delivering to her home this morning what my mother described "as gorgeous an arrangement of flowers as I think I have ever seen" was the quote. Kudos to you for making a loving mother very happy today, Ms. Frederick! Trusting you and your decades of experience and expert eye for what works together to make up a wonderful arrangement was the best thing that could have happened to me and to my mother on her special day! You are the best, Mary Jo! Thanks for being there and doing what you do!
