Village West was the best apt complex to live at! I had an amazing experience! Awesome for Purdue students. Very reliable bus system, spacious rooms, great staff, and a nice pool! Threw a bunch of parties here too and never got any complaints. I will recommend this place over and over again! Wish I would have lived with Munzier again instead of Granite (cause they are the worst apt complex literally under the sun)

Horrible placement process. My daughter was pressured into signing a lease immediately under the threat that there was no other way to guarantee she would be with her roommates. After signing, it turns out there is still no guarantee. They can place her with anyone, and there is no recourse. Leasing office is completely uncooperative. The lease itself was signed yesterday and does not begin for more than 9 months, and yet there is apparently no way they could possibly cancel it or guarantee her placement with her roommates.

Our lease is a legally binding contract, and signing it signifies that there is an understanding of that. The correct information was given and we are not allowing early move ins. Our lease states that our move in date for this year is August 17, 2023. It is something that has been known since the lease was signed. Due to Fair Housing, we cannot allow any tenants special privileges that we are not allowing everyone. Now I get that everyone has their own experiences here but when I lived here I quite thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I made lots of new friends. My roommates were awesome and I just overall had a fantastic time living here. I will say there were some negatives here tho like maintenance wasnt exactly the best when it came to fixing things up around our apartment. And the dryer was a huge issue for me and my roommates, our old dryer wouldnt dry our clothes in the quickest manner. And maintenance did replace it with another bad dryer but really that was our biggest issue. But overall the positives far outweigh the negatives of living here. I honestly would recommend living here if youre looking for off campus housing at Purdue.
