To simplify what happened: I went in for a tour of these apartments and left 10 minutes later. When I walked in and told the 3 staff members that Id scheduled a tour, they seemed confused. When they found out I only wanted 1 bedroom instead of 2, they decided to not show me their model before I could say anything because its of a 2 bedroom apartment. Instead, they got on the apartments website (which I used to book the tour), and just showed me the virtual tour (as if I wouldnt have already looked at it). Afterwards, I was merely told how to apply and sent on my way. I was also clearly spoken down to the entire time because I look considerably younger than I am. They really were some of the laziest/most clueless workers Ive ever seen. It was actually impressive.

I lived at the Hub, previously the Annex, for almost 4 years while attending college. The business was owned by three different companies while I was there. The apartments were disgusting when I moved in, the carpets were torn up and nasty and it smelled like someone chain smoked cigarettes and weed in our apartment for 30 years. My roommate and I immediately took pictures of every deficiency and made note of everything wrong and sent it up to the first owners of the apartment complex. As the years went buy and the third company took over, rent increased by $200 with no changes to the poor quality of our apartment and my roommate and I were charged for a $300-$350 pet fee AGAIN, which we had paid with the first owners of the apartment complex. When it came time to move out we were charged money for the nasty carpets that were torn up from day one of us living there, cabinets in the kitchen, which were in the same condition as they were when we moved in, and for the flooring which was undoubtedly from the 1980s. All in all we were charged in fees from the Hub what a months rent is equal to. I do not recommend this apartment complex because they do not keep good track of receipts or paperwork and other people will be paying so much more out of pocket than necessary.
