This was a horrible experience! I was entice to come here because they were giving me a $6,000 grant. I let them know I could not turn on the utilities, and my home officer told me that should not be a problem. My officer was super nice when I first starting talking with her. But after I agreed to go with Busey, everything changed....She was being rude, not responding to my calls or texts, until she needed documents the day before they are due. I kept asking her periodically if there was anything I needed to do, but I barely got a response. She never took responsibility for anything! I was suppose to close on Friday, however they notified me that they would probably deny my loan because the utilities must be on for the underwriter. She told me Freddie and Fannie does not require the utilities to be on... and reassured me that I have nothing to be worried for. I have spent days trying to work with Busey about this. A supervisor told me my loan probably will be denied, and Busey will have no responsibility after that. I would advise to anyone reading this.. Although they might be friendly in the beginning, and entice you will all they can offer you. Once you sign with them, you are just another customer to them....

Husband went in today to pay off a small business loan and was told he will get the payoff amount by "paper mail" in 2 weeks! Customer service is weird there. It's like they want to be nice but also make everything as difficult as possible to do but with a smile and then be very defensive and act victimized if you question their methods at all.
