Aaa Vintage Soft Water

I called to ask the company to stop littering by throwing rock-filled bags unto the driveway. The owner let out a bellow of obscenities that would make a sailor blush. Told me I was, "taking food out of someone's mouth" by taking their littering job away. I said, why don't you just do a mailing like legal businesses do? He hung-up on me. I just reported him to the Lake County Sheriff. It's non-emergency, so it may take awhile. I asked the police to call me back and let me know if this is actually legal. I'll revise this review when I get the answer.

Rich was terribly rude when I called and asked him to not litter with his advertisements. He insulted me and said he would save my number and send lawyers after me. What for is anyones guess. I did promise him I would leave reviews sharing my experience dealing with him. I would never hire a company that represents themselves this way.

I would never hire a company that litters people's property. I don't appreciate having to pick up bags with rocks and your flyer.

I had this company install a water softener in my home several years ago, and it came with a lifetime guarantee on parts, service and labor. I'm not making that up, I have it in writing. When I recently had trouble with the water softener the owner told me the repairs would cost nearly $500 because, and I quote, "It's a 10 year lifetime guarantee". I told him that's not what I have in writing, and that sentence doesn't even make sense. He said, and again I quote, "It doesn't matter, our lawyer told us we could do this in Illinois". I suppose I could sue and win, but that would almost surely cost more than the repairs. Instead, I think I'll just let Karma (and social media) work its magic.

Came home to find their marketing material in my yard (plastic baggie with flyer & rocks) along with boot prints through my yard and mud wiped onto my sidewalk. It's one way to ensure I'd never do business with this outfit.
