Beautiful girls and nice people at this bank location. Very helpful. Best branch I've been to. Other locations sometimes have attitudes and other things. This is a good branch.

Need to teach your bankers not to be so pushy to store customers about opening an account

Upon entering I was having a pleasant experience until my husband and I were approached by the branch manager of this location, Sufian Abusaid. When he tried to get me to open an account, I along with my husband repeatedly told him no i just wanted to cash my check. I am currently going through payroll changes at my job as well as in the process of closing on a home. He took that info to dig deeper I to our financial status on not only the account but my home buying process. With no exaggeration I told him no a minimum of 5 times. Mr. Abusaid still did not stop. He continued to question me even though I had already given reasons why I could not open a new account. Long story short, they kept me there 15-20 minutes longer just because they were refusing to cash the check until Mr. Sufian Abusaid finished speaking. I felt completely uncomfortable the way he was trying to strong arm me Into opening an account. I have decided to post this complaint because this branch manager got into a verbal altercation with my husband a day later when he saw him in the store. This branch manager is completely unprofessional, and for lack of better words rude. I have NEVER had an issue with TCF bank until I met this man. Never again would I return here. It makes me not want to even return to this jewel's just because this manager Sufian Abusaid approached my husband while shopping. As a manager myself in customer service, I am completely in shock from his negative and confrontational behaviour towards potential clients.
