Busey Bank

Erin is the best worker there, She was so nice and helpful, 100% recommend her, she was super patient with me and help me get what I needed to get done quick. Shes so awesome!!

On 2/21/24 at approximately 4:30pm this bank ATM machine took not only my wife's debit card but also 340.00 from my bank account. As opposed to the professional thing to do the people working in the bank at this time thought it was appropriate to sit laughing as my wife sat there. I expect an apology. Actually I DEMAND and apology. I will be visiting this bank at open of business on 2/22 to speak with the highest person I can get in contact with. I'll update this review based upon this visit.

I have tended to give the benefit of my doubt to Busey, but am running out of patience. Today's problem is that I'm trying to call to get an answer to a simple question about my safe deposit box. The phone number listed by Google rings a number of times and then gives a computer voice that says 'the call did not go through'. When I tried to call the central Busey customer service number, no living person picked up. A computer ultimately offered a call back, but hung up before I was done entering my phone number. I need to find a more customer friendly bank. Postscript: I emailed the bank as they requested and have received no response. Their request for contact would appear to be all window dressing with no real desire to address the issues.

Im a waitress and bartender so I do tend to have a lot of ones and fives in my deposit. Bank teller Hannah was not very polite and acted like she was annoyed by you coming to her lane with a big deposit. She basically ignored me when I told her I wanted some in checking and some in savings she walked away to opposite counter. Then I proceeded to watch her and another co worker Jacob discussing my transaction and laughing through the window. because she didnt ask later after she counted my money I told her I wanted some of it in my checking and rest in savings and she made a whole face and acted even more frustrated and irritated dont know why shes so mad about doing her job. Another older lady that works there Told me I had to bill face all my money or it wouldnt be deposited will not be going back.
