I complained to my hotel about the internet. Amazingly they told me to contact their service provider (innflux) They confirmed what I already knew, that it was not a connection issue but a provider issue. Innflux is providing Extended Stay America guests with 100 KB/s of internet speed!!! This allows Extended Stay America to advertise free WiFi without being nailed for false advertising and Innflux to make money off "upgrading". If you check into an Extended Stay America hotel you can forget about Facetiming, Skyping, Snapchating or any type of video message to your loved ones while you are away on your EXTENDED stay. 100KB/s is actually WORSE than 1997 dial up speeds. You cannot even update your OS because the connection usually fails OR it will take at least three hours. I'm willing to bet you cannot even BUY this speed in the rest of the developed world.....but America has a free market. I really wish the FCC would put something in place to stop these criminals

These are the people behind Innflux. Innflux is the reason that the "free internet" in your hotel room runs like you are in North Korea... Unless you pay, of course (yes, pay for the "free internet"), then you get variable speeds ranging from "somewhat acceptable" to "barely usable".
Just an extortionist racket, a complete and utter scam that makes their clients (Like Extended Stay) look bad. Actually had to switch hotels in the middle of a project because it was so bad.
Also... Horrible tech support. Even their chat sessions crash. Maybe they also use Innflux!
