image Started going to Jeta because of the Groupon discount. I have had a great experience with Ivonne for laser hair removal.  I have tried other laser hair removal centers without success, but this laser works. My underarm hair is gone! It's certainly far from painless, but I think the results are worth it. I am now getting laser hair removal on other areas. The location isn't anything fancy, but the prices are right and the laser is effective!

image Agnes is great! She is so patient and always makes me feel comfortable! I never have to wait long for an appointment and am pleased with the results.

image I got a groupon for 6 sessions.  I am giving 3 stars because the service i received was great but the location and salon set up was not so great.  The location is soooo inconvenient (i can't imagine who would find it convenient) and the outside of the salon is really terribly set up, neon signs and quite often the door is locked so you have to knock to be let in.  The inside lobby is not much better, it certainly seems like they saved money wherever they could in setting up the whole salon.  The front desk people always seem super confused and stressed.  However, the good news is that once i was actually in one of the rooms i got good service.  I had Agnes and Yvonne for my treatments and they were both friendly and professional.  I felt taken care of during my appointment.I should mention that i had 2 sessions of my 6 and then i fell pregnant.  i told them i was pregnant and they said they don't suggest continuing the sessions until after i have given birth.  They kindly put a note in the system that i would resume my sessions later.  They were true to their word as i did end up calling them almost a year later and they were happy to set up the rest of my sessions. After about a year and a half, i have finally finished the 6 sessions and i am very pleased with the results.  I haven't touched the area i had lasered since my first session and i still haven't seen a single hair.I don't think it would take much for this salon to spend a few more dollars on the exterior and lobby set up but in terms of the service, i liked my technician and got  good results.

image Got a YouSwoop at the end of June.  I started calling but they weren't returning my calls.  I wondered if they went out of business because their out of office message for the 4th of July holiday was still on their VM two weeks later.  Finally after complaining to YouSwoop, they called me but told me that I needed to make an appointment with the doctor (who only comes in once a month).  I couldn't get in on the August appointment but they assured me that they would call me for the September once a month doctor visit.   They didn't call.  I called them yesterday to just see what was up.  They told me that I could come in at 5p.  I then got a VM from them today saying to "please call to make an appointment with the doctor".  Then the next message 10 minutes later said "please call to make. . .oh. . .wait, I think I just called you, um okay well call to make an appointment."  I called to make sure that my appointment for this afternoon wasn't cancelled and she said everything was fine. Then I get there.  Run down office space.  Not aesthetically pleasing at all.  Met with the doctor - he was nice enough.  I went to the room to get my first treatments.  Without going into too much of the details, when the technician explained the breakdown of costs, I didn't understand.  She immediately shut down and said "we don't do that."  She went to the owner and was psh-psh-pshhing and I finally gathered my stuff and walked back to front talk to the owner myself.  She yelled at me.  Friends, this is not how you get return business.  She told me that she wouldn't allow the upgrade from bikini to brazilian and that at least  I could "use the little coupon."   It was so dismissive and patronizing I couldn't stand for it.  I told them that I would rather eat the $300 than deal with a company that treated their customers so rudely.  And that's all I have to say about that.

image I bought a groupon for laser hair removal a while ago, and when I was pleased with how it was working on my bikini line I decided to ask about it for my legs. I was moving away from the area, so didn't want to get the full year of treatments.  I also explained that as a graduate student, this was a very large financial commitment for me.  I was told by the owner that, given the type of hair I have on my legs (dark and fairly coarse), after six treatments the roots would be so damaged that any growth I had left would be much thinner and grow much more slowly--more specifically, she said that if I had to shave at all, it would only be every couple months. Six treatments and over $1000 later, there was no change.  Every time I went in, I told the woman working with me that I wasn't seeing much change, that the laser wasn't hurting at all, but she refused to set it to a higher power and assured me 6 treatments would see a change.  When I spoke to the owner about it, she completely denied ever having spoken to me (she has quite distinctive features, I know that I spoke to her and I know what was said) and claimed that she would never have said that 6 treatments would make a difference.  I was lied to and cheated.  If you do anything with this company, get any guarantees in writing.
