Sent a package on July 2nd. It was lost in limbo until 8/11/21. I spoke to 2 wonderful clerks that assisted me. The clerk I spoke to on 8/11/21, promised me that she would help find my package. Not only did she find out, they delivered it immediately upon finding. I stayed kind and patient throughout the entire process because regardless to have frustrating things are, you have to give respect to get it. I am grateful for these ladies and happy that they were able to assist me.

I didn’t want to give the 9308 South Chicago Postal location any stars for the lack of professionalism experienced at this location. The customer Service is TERRIBLE! Just TERRIBLE. Not only are the staff rude, dry, and visibly unhappy, they don’t hold themselves accountable for the poor service that they have become accustomed to dishing out to their local customers. They have also lied repeatedly regarding attempts made to deliver my packages. I have been having issues receiving my packages for the month of February, to the point that I have had to direct my complaints to their 1-800 customer service number which is also such a disappointing method to communicate with a customer service Agent. Not only does it take hours to get through, the higher up personal don’t seem to be much help either. I had to put in 2 separate redelivery request that went unanswered. I finally decide to retrieve my packages myself and was met with workers who are less than helpful and extremely unpleasant. I explained to one of the ladies assisting me that I received an alert telling me that there was an attempt to deliver my package but no one was there to sign. I explained that this was false because I work from home and no one made any attempts nor was there a notice left behind informing me of where I could pick up my package as an alternative to the redelivery. The lady assisting me goes to the back to retrieve my package and I am then met with my mail carrier, who comes out to explain to me that, In the past, the residents of my home take too long to come to the door. Not sure if this was her reasoning for the fact that she failed to do her job, or thought that was a valid excuse for her lack of attempt at ringing the door bell or leaving a notice, but the point is she failed to follow through with her job and then lied about it. The crazy part is, I watched her the day before drop off the mail and walk out of my gate, no package in hand. So here we are arguing back and forth about her lie and my truth. Mind you, she came out and addressed me, I did not send for her. Why was this necessary?! No apology, just excuses and misplaced blame. I’m sure the complaint I made to the supervisor did not hold any weight, and that is the unfortunate part. The staff will continue to dish out less than satisfactory customer service and get paid for it. They need a whole new team and a lot more Customer Service training.

Worst Post office. They mark delivered when it’s not delivered. This is the second week I had to come up here because my mail isn’t delivered 🤦🏽‍♀️. Ridiculous ups send a package 📦 through them and it’s been two weeks. Where is my package?
