I could not have asked for a better place to take our daughter for her first dentist appointment. She's 20 months so my expectations for her sitting in a chair, let alone a dental exam were pretty low...but the staff was soo friendly and the hygienist did a great job at going through each process slowly and making sure she was okay. She even found Frozen on YouTube and played it on the ceiling to keep her distracted, allowing them to do a full cleaning and flossing. She also made recommendations to assist with brushing habits at home, which was super helpful.

My son was terrified of the dentist when he was little, to the point he wouldn't open his mouth. We switched to Dr. Mary Tierney and it was the best decision we made. We drive a little over an hour to see her and it's so worth it! The entire staff is professional, highly skilled, friendly and amazing with kids. She understands how to work with different children and children with learning differences etc. Now when we have an appointment I think my son looks forward to catching up with Dr. Mary. She is so wonderful at making conversations with the kids and paying attention to what they say, that she puts them at ease and they start to relax. We also had a dental surgery done here and it went perfectly. My son had a spacer that stayed in perfectly as well. His teeth have improved so much and her work is incredible. I highly recommend City Kids dental.

We had a wonderful first visit! They were friendly and professional! My daughter was comfortable too. Well definitely be back.

Wonderful staff, everyone clearly knows how to work with kids and address any anxiety around going to the dentist. My daughter was actually excited to come today! The kids get a little token to choose a prize at the end of the visit which helps a lot!

I cannot even begin to express how pleased I am with this dental practice. Every single staff member I weve encountered has been nothing but kind, patient and helpful. Dr Keira is so good with children has an amazing collaborative approach. This type of approach builds trust and confidence, which is healing for kids like mine with previous dentist trauma.
I also like that they use nitrous oxide. Some pediatric practices wont use it but I truly believe its helpful in certain circumstances with certain patients and its just nice that its an option for those who might benefit from it.
This practice should be the gold standard for all pediatric dental practices are run. Gosh, Im so grateful we found Dr Keira and City Kids dental.
