Vinny is an awesome guy. He went above and beyond, highly recommend. He was prompt, efficient, knowledgeable. ETA: A bit pricey though. $180 to change the condensate pump, which I later found out is a $34 part that my husband had already replaced. Vinny extended the warranty to 2 years when I came back to tell him this. ETA2: I ended up having the unit serviced by a different company, a very skilled gentleman who spent many hours taking it apart and repairing it. Yes these units are old, but they used to make them to last. These newer "planned obsolescence" units are just not built to last and it absolutely doesn't make sense to replace it if a skilled technician can properly repair it.

Vini and team are the best for HVAC repair and annual system maintenance. I live on the Northside of Chicago (Logan Square/Avondale area) and have worked with their company for over 3 years now. They're reliable, trustworthy and seriously go above and beyond to accommodate their customers! Side note: I found them after searching and searching for a company I felt I could trust which is so hard nowadays because you just don't know who half these companies are... I'm not kidding folks, the reviews for this guy are insane. Just take a look and you can see why so many customers love this guy and his business. They've always came to my home promptly when there was an issue, were clean and respectful of my home (they always put on shoe covers which I appreciate because I have small children) and are just great guys. If you have ever worked with other HVAC companies, and home repair businesses in general, you know the techs and service can be down right unprofessional. These guys at Preferred Comfort are seriously so nice and do a great job!! After the initial repair when we first moved into our home, I can now say fortunately I only get to see Vini and crew when it's time for my system's annual maintenance. I highly recommend these guys and have done so for friends and family many of times. Stop searching for other companies and just give Preferred Comfort a call! I hired this company to clean a few furnaces of mine and give them a winter checkup. The owner, Vinny, came out to do the work himself and did a good, extensive and thorough job. Preferred comfort also charged me 13% less than other high rated, online, HVAC companies. Vinny performed a more comprehensive tune-up of the furnaces than my usual heating person, who charges 7% more, does. In addition, my usual HVAC tech has been telling me for the past couple years that I need to change one of my furnaces, however, Vinny said the furnace is fine and just needed a good cleaning & inspection. He didn't try to upsell me at all like the other company, who I've known for several years, did. This is a good, honest company that does quality work and I will highly recommend them to my neighbors, friends and suggest that others follow suit. Service: Heating maintenance
