Advanced Prosthetics & Orthotics

I switched to APO about a year ago. It was a very tough decision to make because switching prosthetic companies can feel a bit like cheating on your spouse. I had met Brittany and Steph at a Challenged Athletes Foundation biathlon event where they were volunteering their time adjusting prosthetics and helping athletes. They helped me adjust my leg in order to be able to successfully ski for the first time since my amputation. I decided to make the switch afterwards because I meshed well with Brittany. I am so incredibly glad that I made that change! The staff at APO are second to none! The office staff is organized, polite, and always assists me in a timely fashion. Denise their billing expert has been able to help me with issues concerning my insurance when they refused to cover my prosthetic. The owners and managers care about each individual patient and do not just see people as numbers. The techs are knowledgeable and blow my mind with the volume and promptness of their work. Most of all, the prosthetist are incredible. Brittany has helped me progress in ways I didn’t think possible. She has gotten me through dark points in my recovery. She is always improving my socket fit and in turn my quality of life. I have thrown curve ball after curveball her way and she has met them head on with a smile on her face and a “let’s do this” attitude. Including phone calls after hours and even some help via FaceTime when I couldn’t come into the office. The team at APO can meet all of your prosthetic and orthotic needs at any point in your recovery. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Advanced Prosthetics is by far the best prosthetic clinic I have ever gone to.I have been a BK amputee my whole life and have never been treated better anywhere else. I had a bad experience at the last clinic I went to and Advanced really helped me out by working with my insurance to get my new leg covered. I am very active and have never had a better fitting leg. Brittany is awesome to work with and isn't afraid to think outside the box to find a solution if there is a problem.The technicians are really great as well, they fabricated a really cool knee brace that I use for skiing. I highly recommend going to Advanced Prosthetics, It was the best decision I have ever made for my prosthetic needs.
