If you think the food here is "average," try ordering something special. The staff is more than willing to whip up specialty pizzas ranging from artichokes and spinach to the delicious buffalo chicken. My latest concoction is the white sauce and either all-meat or supreme. I much prefer the white sauce here to just about any pizza sauce in town. No secret that this is my favorite splurge (on calories). I go here far too often, and my waistline has only me to blame. The food is always good (usually fresh, but if you drop in at opening there's usually nothing available yet; if you're within 45 minutes of closing, you'll definitely want to ask for something new). The decor is nothing special, and the games have a tendency to eat quarters (I understand the staff can't address the issue, but my daughter and I put $1.75 in a machine while an employee was standing next to us advising us to try it again... and still wouldn't refund the money it ate until a repairman arrived). That's the -only- customer service issue I've ever experienced here, and as a foodie who's been all over Boise, it's saying something. Prices keep going up, which is saddening. I understood the price increase when they added BSU football games, but since most evening games go past store hours, it sucks to have to leave in the late 3rd to 4th quarter. Just about every restaurant -except- Primos that pays to show the game would stay open till it's over. So, don't go for evening games. Latest price increase has me befuddled. I can only guess (as a former businessman and now business writer), that it's to cover the new discounts for children on Mondays and Seniors on Tuesdays. Nothing else seems to have changed. The new price puts it on par with most other food buffets in town. Chuck, Corral, Din Fung, those other Chinese... but it's the only pizza buffet left (not excluding lunch buffets at the Hut and Idaho Pizza), and if you go specialty, you won't go wrong.
