I love this store! I've been shopping her for more than a decade. Fantastic selection of fabrics, notions, thread, and tools, including quite a large selection of really nice sewing machines for those that want great hardware! The staff is always super nice and helpful, and since they have other stores on these islands, if they don't have it, they'll get it for you. They'll even get your sewing machine repaired, and your scissors sharpened professionally! As a local upholstery store owner, I like the ability to run up the street and get new marking chalks, seam rippers, piping, and other tooling and notions I need for my shop. Great job, DFW!!

It's a little hard to find, but it's definitely worth a visit for people who use fabrics as a hobby. There are many fabrics with designs that are not available in Japan, and there are also fabrics with patterns unique to America and Hawaii, so it's fun! In particular, there is a wide range of fabrics with patterns unique to Hawaii, ranging from cute ones for children to ones for adults. If you like handmade things, I think you will be motivated to make them. I highly recommend it because you can take home a unique Hawaiian souvenir that you won't find anywhere else!

Staff was friendly and didn't bother me while i browsed. They did have a large variety of mostly cotton fabrics and a decent sized section of knits. I wish they had more Hawaiian print knits as i only see with knits but that's the struggle always.
