Fabric and Quilting Delights

GREAT STORY OF WHY YOU SHOULD SUPPORT THIS LOCAL BUSINESS: I know nothing about quilting. However, my mother-in-law is an avid quilter and we cant go to any travel destination without visiting the nearest Quilt or Fabric shop. In our most recent trip to Kona, my Mother-in-law dropped in and struck up a conversation with the woman behind the counter. My MIL shared with her how she makes individual quilts for the local foster home and all of the teens that live there. She gathered her materials and when she went to the register to pay, she was met with a significant discount. The woman at the shop said she would like to support her work with the foster teens and discounted this strangers purchase based on good will. I cant speak to the fabric, materials, or tools for sale at this shop so I cant be fair in this review. Having said that, it seems like these stories are fewer and far between these days so I wanted to celebrate it and bring it some positive attention.

FYI as of Sept 22 they moved to a different suite in the same shopping complex, theyre #140 now but still there!

Such a beautiful shop right on the ocean with an amazing collection of quilting fabrics and batiks. It is probably a good thing that I was visiting from the mainland and limited to the amount of fabric I could stuff into my luggage! I wish I lived closer. The staff are very knowledgeable and attentive. If you are in the area, definitely stop by.
