Great bank! The staff here is always friendly and willing to answer (or research) any question I've ever had. I've never had a problem with any account I've held here. I highly recommend this as a first bank for a child/student who needs to learn how banking works. Both of my children benefited from the knowledge and expertise offered by the staff here. I'd give MORE STARS if I could.

This ASB branch is awesome. So convenient with such friendly staffs. It takes cares of 80% of my banking need. I left Bank of Hawaii because I left Hawaii (and they wouldn't wave a cashier check fee even when I was a 10 years customer of theirs. May be they thought I will never come back and won't be their customer anymore anyway) I left Central Pacific because they cut down on their branches and ATM in the 2000's. I left first Hawaiian Bank because they are so big that our business was not on their to remember list. I am with American Savings Bank for the last 15 years. They are always a few step ahead of the other banks. I used their mobile app the first day it came out. ASB is my bank.

Hands down the only bank anyone should be banking with in Hawaii . A+ svc
