    This used to be our go to place since the staff were helpful and respectful. But the key word is WERE. Just this past year alone, employees have been incredibly rude and condescending. They dont want to help and are incredibly disrespectful when asked questions. Even my parents who go here are fed up with their attitude and bad manners. Definitely NOT coming back or recommending this place unless the employees change their ways.

  • To Whom It May Concern, Hello, I wanted to briefly share my recent customer experience at the T-Mobile store located at 1291 Old Peachtree Rd NW #104, Suwanee, GA 30024. I visited the store mentioned above for an in-store pickup (IPhone 14 Pro Max) on 09/21/2022. During my visit, I gave my older IPhone model (IPhone 11 Pro Max with the SIM card embedded within the phone) as a trade-in for the IPhone 14 Pro Max. Upon returning home and having unboxed the new phone, I realized that the new phone model did not require a SIM card. Once I confirmed that a SIM card was not necessary on the IPhone 14 Pro Max, I called the store requesting the SIM card to be returned to me. It was during this phone conversation that I have been first informed on the SIM card not being required on the newer model (which in this case, I had to find out myself). Rather than informing me of this vital information during my visit, the employee present at the time was solely focused on selling phone cases and protectors. When I declined the offer (I declined by stating that I will need to speak with my wife before purchasing the cases and protectors), the employee responded in a condescending tone that I needed approval for purchasing items so small like a phone case or a screen protector. Additionally, the employee continued on with the statement that the SIM card is now deactivated, and that I must open a new phone line to utilize the SIM card again. I replied back with inquiries on why this information was not mentioned when I picked up the new phone. When I requested the SIM card to be activated and be returned me, the staff who was on the line had hung up. I called multiple times after the first call to reach the employee again, but no one had answered nor returned my call ever since. To verify whether the SIM card could be activated somewhere else, I visited the T-Mobile (on 09/21/22) store located at 2880 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd, Suwanee, GA 30024. When I explained my experience and circumstance to the staff in this location, the employee understood my request and quickly responded by activating the SIM card without the need for a new phone line. My purpose in writing this complaint is so that there are no more customers (within and outside of the T-Mobile store mentioned) who must undergo such terrible customer service as I did. The key points of my complaint are the fact that the necessary information (such as SIM card not being required on the new model, SIM card being deactivated without my consent, and the SIM card not being returned to the original owner) was completely omitted, the intent of opening a new phone line just to activate the SIM card again (when the second store I visited on the same day had provided me with a new SIM card without the need for a new line), and the fact that condescending statements/remarks were made when I declined the offer for phone accessories. It seems clear enough to me that the customer experience at the T-Mobile store (located on 1291 Old Peachtree Rd NW) is poor as they have still not returned my call to explain why the phone was hung up or to follow-up with the issued matter at hand. I kindly request the headquarter to review and inspect the individual chain stores more frequently to make sure that the entire staff adhere to the companys policy and vision for customer service.
