Flint River is a dog food manufacturing company with distributors around the country. I order all my dog food from them since it is healthier and better for the dogs. I have an 11 year old Rottweiler with NO eye, ear, hip or health problems, thanks in part to them. I recently ordered a new product called "Senior." Before the order shipped I received an email from them asking me if I wanted this product since it was low-protein and not something I'd ordered before. They wanted to make sure I'd ordered the right product and asked me to call them. I thought it was a marketing gimmick at first (and it may have been, but I don't think so). When the customer service rep answered she was able to answer my questions, explain the product and suggest other products better suited for my dog. Yes, she did upsell/offer another product, but I expect that any time I call a company and I had asked about glucosamine products. So, I changed my order, tried some new treats with the glucosamine my dog loves and needs and I feel better about Flint River all the way around. My dog LOVES their food, acts and feels better on it, and I recommend it highly to anyone who cares what their animals eat. They pay attention. They *get* it. Thanks Flint River!
