I called before hand and asked if I could tour the boarding area before booking and was told yes. I arrived at the suggested time and was greeted by two young ladies. One was eating her breakfast at the front desk while they debated whether a tour was permitted by Jimmy. Wjo the heck is Jimmy and why am I hearing this debate. Needless to say I walked out! The odor in the lobby was off putting and should have been first hint for what to expect.

If you love your pet don’t go here 💯. I took my dog Pickle here because she had fleas and had red marks all over her body. It started off very weird because they took pickle to the back without telling me what they needed to do and when she goes back I hear her yiping so I opened the door and everybody just stopped I asked if everything was okay and they said yes I closed the door to hear her yipe a few more times and when she was brought back in she was out of her harness and leash and had a choker leash around her neck and she was coughing and choking and running away from the guy holding it. That’s weird. Pickle has vet anxiety but she’s never been AFRAID of the people at the vet, never bit them, nothing. Normally when we’ve been to the vet and see she has anxiety vets tend to be very nice and calm using treats to get her on the scale or cooperate with procedures. They just used physical force to give her even MORE vet anxiety. I take the choker leash off of her and told them I don’t do that and she needed to keep her harness on. When the doctor comes in the vet tech who I then noticed had lines of cuts on his wrist going all the way up his arm strong arms my 19lb small dog with one arm locked under her neck and the other locked under her torso and I immediately said “no I’ll hold herâ€. Its difficult for me to trust that they won’t or didn’t hurt Pickle when the vet Tech clearly can’t even not hurt himself. The doctor came in and looked in pickle’s ear… THAT’S IT. No exam. Because an exam looks at the teeth, ear, feels the stomach region ALL OF THAT. But he talked for about 30 mins and then prescribed her the medicine I needed and left. They charged me $58 for the “exam†that consisted of him looking in Pickle’s ear, the medication was about $30 (which I had no issue with) and then tried to charge me for a heart worm test about $44 that I didn’t get BECAUSE I don’t trust them. I would not take your dog here at ALL if you care about them, they don’t treat the animals with any compassion or care and are clearly just trying to make a quick buck without doing the work. We will NEVER be back no matter how desperate I am for an appointment ðŸ‘ðŸ½

Save the stress and go somewhere else. We were told to bring our dogs at 7am for shots. When I arrived at 7am, I was told the doctor wouldn’t even be in until 8:30 so I needed to come back then. I came back with my two dogs again at 8:30 and waited in the lobby for an hour. The doctor never showed. I gave up and decided to find another place to take them to. They do not respect their customers’ time.
