D&E Construction Services

We used D&E a few years back for a roof replacement from hail damage through our insurance company, and had leaking issues where the roof was flashed around the skylights in the kitchen. After several weeks of unanswered phone calls and messages, I finally called State Farm and got them involved. I received a call back a couple days later from one of the owners who apologized about his Co-owner's behavior (a gentleman named David Ouimette, who is the main contact for the company) and sent someone out there shortly afterwards to fix it. Fast forward a few years later and the inspection report we just had done to sell our home revealed that they placed the exhaust vent for the heating unit in the attic too close to the plywood underneath the shingles, which is a fire hazard. After two messages over a two week period and still no reply, it would seem as though nothing has changed in the owner's behavior and I'm just going to have to take care of this at my expense. If you need a roofing contractor, my advice is to look elsewhere because if you ever have an issue, which you are likely to have based on the quality of work they apparently do, you'll have to do everything short of issue a court summons to get these people to respond.

D&E did a great job helping us after Hurricane Irma caused damage to our roof from meeting with our insurance adjuster to completing the finish of our roof, painting and repairing damage inside and cleaning up all the debris. I would not hesitate to recommend these folks.
