Steve helped me out of a very scary situation.  Sacor Financial sued me for over $32,000 on old credit card account it claimed it had bought.  Steve filed a lawsuit for me against Sacor for violating the law.  He was able to get Sacor to dismiss the lawsuit against me and I didn’t pay them anything.  Sacor had to pay me! Thank you so much for protecting me and helping me when I really needed it.

Even though I’m a trial attorney, I knew I needed a specialized professional to deal with some in accurate credit reporting issues.  Steve Koval has filed several lawsuits for me that fixed errors in my credit reports, compensated me for the harm caused by the errors and covered my attorney’s fees.  Steve really knows the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  I’ve been in court and negotiations with Steve.  The judge respected Steve. The jury clearly liked him and his persuasive presentation of my case.  I hope I don’t need to file a lawsuit against a debt buyer or credit reporting agency in the future, but if I do Steve will definitely be my attorney.

My experience with this firm has actually changed my life for the better. The Koval Firm represented me in a difficult case with nationwide coverage in Federal Court. He was 100% committed to righting the wrong. After a lower court defeat, Steve called the Federal Judge on his error and got the case remanded and settled in my favor with a life-altering settlement that was much more than nominal. Steve helps the little guy knock down giants, knows the law and fights passionately for the client. He is very professional and exceeded anything I could imagine. When I got sued for the first time in my life, I was very anxious about it.  Fortunately, Steve Koval was recommended to me. He immediately was able to reduce my anxiety by explaining the process and the law.  He was always available to answer my questions and treated me with respect and compassion.  He paid careful attention to all of the details in the proposed settlement agreement and explained what it all meant. I was very satisfied with the outcome of the lawsuit.  I have consulted with Mr. Koval about other legal problems that have come up. He either has provided me with answers or referred me to attorneys who could help me.  I have recommended the Koval Firm to friends and they have told me that they were also very happy with their representation.  I hope I don’t ever get sued again, but at least I know where to go if I do!
