It never ceases to amaze me on how poverty, addiction and systematic oppression plays a crucial part of how organizations stay afloat in this vicious society. Targeting the helpless to provide minimum with the hope of statistically recycling us like livestock to their counterparts. I have come to terms that no one in this game of chess is actually here to help anyone but ourselves but first it starts with the truth. The truth beyond a well designed website and a touching mission statement. To be on the bottom of the food chain in this society, means to be disrespected, humiliated and degraded to less that of a dog. Interestingly enough by people who have been in our very shoes living in shelters and standing in needy lines to fill the empty hole in there stomachs. There’s people who can’t articulate their treatment but I write on the behalf of those who are weak, numb and have been defeated I would never step foot in this place again.
