The problem I have with this program is why they let someone like me in the program who didn't necessarily need it. I was diagnosed with so called schizophrenia and been renting low income apartments and my case manager recommended me to this program after being evicted. Then hearing how they dont let veterans get these apartments just made me feel guilty and why they are letting me get this apartment. I just have to hear people in the complex complaining about me being here.

I called this place to try to get placed in a permanent residence. My case manager Cynti after a long few months finally got my application approved. I then got an apartment and was settled in. Yesterday I called up there regarding a separate issue and the rude inconsiderate and non compassionate lady Alexia Hunter told me that my time in the program has ended in February. So they will no longer be providing me with rental assistance going forward. My case manager NEVER told me there was a limited time in the program and my world was shaken to its foundation. She was so cold and heartless about it as well. Im a veteran and was only here for 6 months. Not only was there no mention of the time limit before yesterday but there was no warning or phone call, email or text about them stopping my assistance. Ive never been homeless before and I dont look forward to it. I pray I get some help before I have to experience it.
