Helpful Downloads

I bought Microsoft Office Professional 2021 from Helpful Downloads for $63 in April 2023. The download was quick and easy. So far, I have only used Word and Excel and everything I have used in those apps seems to work.

After loading the Office 365, EXCEL and WORD licenses expired without warning. After numerous attempts to resolve the problem, messages to Support proved to be a waste of time. I would NEVER recommend them.

Nov 2022. I attempted to download MS office 2019 for $30, a black Friday deal apparently. After 2 hours of trying to download unsuccessfully I left a message for the company, of which I got no call back. I requested them to cancel my order since I could not download. They never honored my request and billed my credit card immediately with no refund. When I threatened to dispute the bill with my credit card company, then I got an email that they would have to Zoom my computer to try first. Let me also tell you that I got an email from Helpful Downloads that said I MUST scan my ID (drivers license) and my credit card first before I could receive the download. What kind of company does this? Fraudulent, untrustworthy ones for sure. They had already processed the payment from my credit card and I have made hundreds if not thousands of purchases online and have NEVER been asked to do this. Highly suspect for identity theft and fraudulent company. At this point, with trust destroyed, I decided to eat the $30 and paid for a product I never got. Most companies offer a refund if a product is not received but all they care about is getting your money and personal identifying information for their gain/profit/misuse. I believe the authorities should really look into this company, my own personal thoughts.
