Voided my reservation for no reason. I made a reservation online last week, then called to confirm it. I confirmed it with Malcolm. I called back this morning to make a slight change and Malcolm said it was voided. He didn't give a reason. They put me through to Reservations who said that location didn't have any cars but they'd put me back through to them to check. Yes, that's correct, no cars. So they patched me back to Reservations but no one answered. I had to call the 800 number to start from scratch only to find out that, of course, two days before Christmas, there are no cars in my area at all. I felt like Steve Martin in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. Their recording says, "We treat people the way they ought to be treated... let us show you what that means." Well, I guess I found out. They treat people like crap, apparently. Don't rely on an online reservation, and don't rely on speaking to someone in person. This location (and all of Enterprise from my experience) can't be trusted to rent you a car.

The manager at this location needs to be reprimanded for the way he treated me. He made a bad situation worse. If any one has ever had to rent for an insurance claim, you know it is frustrating. Well this location made things much worse for me. I called to be picked up after having the insurance company make me a reservation. He said that he could not. I asked if he would reimburse me if I took a taxi, and he said that there was no way because it was a direct bill to the insurance company. I said sh** out of frustration, not directed at him, but at the furthermore inconvenience this accident has caused me. He then referred me to call another location and hung up on me. I called the other location and they couldn't pick me up either. Being that the first location was closer to my residence, and I was going to pay out of pocket to get to there, I called to say I was about to be there and asked if he still had a car for me. He told me he did have a car, but was refusing my business because I "cussed him out", which I in no way did. I pleaded with him, apologizing, explaining that the word was not directed at him, and he still refused to rent the car to me. As a former Hertz employee, I realize that there are difficult customers out there, but I can honestly say that I was not being one. I also know that although the daily rate for insurance rentals may be low, they end up being big money because they last for weeks. So this manager just gave up thousands of dollars of revenue for his location and hopefully his job.

The location and staff at the Enterprise location on Clifton Road are great. I am pleased with the customer service and value of my recent car rental. The car model and condition could have been better, but I loved the look and size of my short-term rental and will definitely rent from Enterprise again.
