I purchased two bundles of 14†Kinky curly itips $90 each from Dutchess in September after being referred by my stylist. After a day of not receiving my shipping information via email I reached out by phone & she was extremely rude! She told me it had told me it had to be something that I did wrong while placing my order because shipping is always emailed once the order is placed. It ended up being my fault because I only submitted my phone number but the response given was unacceptable especially with a potential new buyer. The hair was received in a USPS envelope with NO wrapping, it was just smashed down. It looked a bit thin so I reached out again to see if I should get another bundle. AGAIN, nothing but rudeness & attitude!!!! She told me that everything needed was on her website. I placed another order for one bundle of 14†kinky curly hair for $112(in a week the price change). Again the hair came unwrapped just in the usps envelope. This time the hair texture looked a little different and was longer. So I reached back out and was told to send her pictures, once I sent pics she said that the wrong hair was sent it was in fact 16†afro kinky curly but I was told “don’t worry it will blend just have your stylist place it in the back when installing. She never offered to correct the issue. The install went well for about a week. The kinky curly hair has been great and easy to maintain but the afro kinky curly hair has been a total disaster. Dutchess told me to use Moroccan oil cream curl. NOTHING works. The hair mattes up no matter how often I detangle it, it tangles to the point that I can’t even brush through it and it’s extremely DRY. I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT!!! I reached out to her through the house of monroe website TWICE and via text message TWICE 11/4 and 11/5 but she has yet to respond! This is not how a business should be ran. Customers should be able to reach out without receiving attitude or given no response at all. She asked for a google review so here it is!!!! I’ll go elsewhere! Service: Hair extensions

DO NOT ORDER HAIR FROM HER! If I could put zero stars I would. I ordered hair over two weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped. I've received no updates on my order and I've contacted her numerous times and I still haven't gotten a response. I understand when there are delays, but it's truly pitiful when you can't even get a response. I wish I could just cancel my order because at this point I feel scammed. I wish I had a chance to review the actual hair, but unfortunately since I haven't gotten it I can't. I don't even need the hair anymore because I ordered the same hair from another small company after the fact and I've already received it. I truly just want my money back. UPDATE: For some reason I can't respond to the owners comment, but please don't act oblivious. I clearly stated why I wrote this review. That is not the only email I sent to you. I sent about 4 in total and I NEVER got a response. You only refunded me after I wrote this review, so I wrote this because of the poor customer service and I never received my order or even a notice saying its been shipped. I LOVE this salon!!! I actually had been going to the same weaveologist for 6 years before I found Dutchess and House of Monroe on instagram. I loved her videos and her website is extremely easy to navigate, informative and professional! Her videos and website are what sold me initially. The positive salon experience and her professionalism and quality of styling are all what made me a repeat customer. I have gotten microlinks and full frontal weave. Let’s start with the microlinks. Dutchess actually does a quick video consultation to make sure she sees the texture of your hair first so she can properly match it. My microlinks hair matched PERFECTLY!!! I loved her styling technique for it as well. I also love the care in styling for the full frontal weave and final product that she does. Not to mention my styling included a full shampoo and blow dry which was great! I highly recommend House of Monroe!!!

Placed an order on Feb 1st to be delivered to miami and then transferred to Jamaica. Paid for expedited shipping. Never got the order. Owner is super rude when asked for updates. Would never do business with her again. Very unprofessional lady. Screaming when asked for a solid answer as to when the order will be shipped out to us. Messed up valentine's, kept going on about how she's uncomfortable with us becasue we asked to not have a receipt in the package to avoid Jamaican customs. Yet even after claiming to be uncomfortable with us continued to process the order after being asked to cancel multiple times since it wouldnt get to us in time. Website saying 7 days shipping... it's been 21 days. NO UPDATE. I have included the emails in photos. This is after she shouted at us on Feb 8 when we thought the order would have already arrived to Miami and it hadn't. She refused to take calls from us to explain the situation. I explained multiple times why we asked for the receipt to be omitted and I asked for the order to be cancel since it wouldn't reach in time. She just screams and yells instead of actually telling up when we'd get the order. We tried working with her. Tried to present alternatives to just get the situation to work even after she was rude to us. Just a mess. Update FEB 25 (25 days after order) Still no shipping information, still no update. Next update: now march 1,2020 still no tracking information, still no updates from duchess. We're still upset. I know confirm that duchess is a liar. She claimed that the factor got the order directly and that's why she cant cancel it, then she claimed that she had to place the order with the factory. Either way still no hair, still no proper customer service, and no tracking number as to when my order will arrive . UPDATE MARCH 9TH: got the I tips, FINALLY!!!! (3.5.20) No tracking information was provided by the owner until 2 days after the package had been delivered. However I'm beyond disappointed. The hair I'd for lack of a better terms *disappointing*. Waited over a month to receive 3c hair more like kinky curly than afro curly and after a co wash bath it dried so trashy. THE LARGEST WASTE OF MONEY EVER! I'm not even mad anymore just disappointed like so disappointed I kinda wanna cry. I ordered afro curly I do not recommend this for type 4 hair the top of the bundle is wavy and the bottom is 3c curl after wash. Just horrible experience and product over all.
