It isn't bad, but I'd recommend staying at the LEGO hotel instead. It is much more convenient and the food is better. The food at the beach resort was terrible and the wait staff was worse than bad. I wanted a rum and coke and the guy asked me if I wanted Jim Beam

The pool didn't open til 4 after being closed all day. So when everyone was outside the pool waiting. They just started cleaning it and told everyone it would be another 1/2 hr. Paid a lot of money to have a all day closed pool at a beach resort!!??

Beach retreat but no beach. King Bed was lumpy. Playground is decent for small kids. Pool is nice but not really anything else for kids to do here. We had much better time when we stayed at Legoland Hotel. Kids have outgrown Legoland so this will be our last visit.

We planned a Lego vacation and booked this place because it seems to be different from other Lego hotels. Since we made it all the way to Florida so why not?! So this is what we got- for paying $500/night, we got to stay at a 1 star bug infested model. We got bugs on the bed, patios, food, pool. Bug bites on the face and body after you wake up every morning. Spoke to hotel service and they said it is totally safe and fine to live with bugs. I am just speechless that the hotel doesnt do anything about it and keeps having bugs flying into guests mouths. The room itself is very dated, old and no amenity. It is comparable to model 6 if not worse. What is worse is they claim that this is a resort but they dont even offer luggage storage. They shuttle service decided to close in the middle of the peak season. We had to Uber to the park and to the main hotel for the luggage storage. Hotel said the shuttle service is not operating today because they are closed? What a lie, the hotel is full. I asked for a paid upgrade twice during my stay and they kept telling me the hotels are full. They dont even have a check in lobby. It really felt like a junk site and they just the Lego on it. Stay away! I dont even understand why they are in business, it is the worst travel exp I ever had. I spent thousands of dollars on Lego each year and my love for Lego is ruined.
