Budget Truck Rental

I had a truck, and car carrier reservation from a month beforehand. When I showed up driving 5 hours from Tampa to pick up the truck, he didn't have a trailer, thats with a month notice. He said I could get one 25 minutes away in North Fort Lauderdale. It took 55 minutes to get to that site, and no discount, or compensation of any sort. Ended up with an old truck with the check engine light on, rusted wheels, 131, 000 miles on it. Not a good experience at all. Why is his door locked at 1:30 pm? Had to call to get in.... sign said open 9-5

Book a moving truck over a month out & they dont have it. Lady at the desk is just an idiot than customer service does about nothing to fix the issue. Dont go here.

Prepaid rate only to be told they have no cars. No solution your out of luck. Budget customer service the. Proceeds to tell me they won't refund the rate. Contemplating a lawsuit. Theft

Ill never do business with Budget again after using this location. I was doing a move from Florida to Colorado and booked a truck with them 2 weeks out. I had to go to the store the day before to confirm that they would actually have a truck for me, as there is no way to call them directly and when I went, I was told they couldnt promise they would have a vehicle. After going back and forth, they did get a truck for me. The truck itself was in great shape- unfortunately there was a change in my plans- there were additional large items and I needed a bigger truck- and I ended up bringing it back the same day. The manager there said he would refund the full cost to my card. It has been 2 weeks. I have called customer service repeatedly and the manager apparently didnt have the power to authorize any refunds, so I was lied to and Ive been sitting with a 3k charge on my card that should not be there. After calling the customer care line 5 TIMES in the last week, I was finally able to get someone to authorize the refund. Bunch of criminals. I highly highly recommend going literally anywhere but here.

Dropped off my rental here, filled the tank at the marathon next door. The girl that took possession of the vehicle charged me a fee and couldn't tell me what it was for. She could only tell me to call the manager after he returned from vacation and he would be able to help. I later saw on my emailed receipt that it was a fuel charge. I called the manager who said he was just getting back from vacation and asked me to call back the next day. I did and he told me he'd fix it. That was never done, I then called customer service who told me they'd fix it, 2-weeks later and they still haven't refunded the fee. Very frustrating and a big reason while I'll never rent from Budget or Avis again.
