The location is unbeatable for the price. The place was pretty quiet and the wifi was reliable. Good breakfast by the pool. The mattresses were not very comfortable, in fact mine made really loud noise any time I would make the slightest shift.

We needed a place to stay last minute for Christmas Eve, and we were afraid all of the Inns would be full, and we'd be stuck in a manger. Not only were we able to get a room, but we found one ON THE BEACH at the Surf Club Hotel. It had to cost a fortune, right? Nope, only $89. What?? Must be some kind of a catch, right? Nope--while the rooms were slighly old-fashioned, and there were some issues with our door lock (specific, I think, for Room 309), the hotel came with breathtaking views and a beautiful pool. Oh yeah--they also allowed us to bring our THREE dogs! All of this was enough to make me write my first review of a hotel in a looooong time, but here was the clincher: I left my wallet full of $400 in the room when we left. They not only called me to tell me about it, but all the money was still there when I came back to get it later in the day. All-in-all, this place is honest AND a major bargain! :)
