      image Attempted to scam my friend $1100+ for a battery and a starter. Absolutely nothing was wrong with the starter. She just needed a new batteryhad called Tires Choice who advised something sounded fishy. We called Pep Boys and advised we would not be needing their services. When we arrived, her car was still in the garage the mechanic looked shocked we werent going to let them fix it. They pushed it out of the garage so we could jump her car and one of the mechanics said to another, Oh.. theyre going to jump it and see that it actually starts.
      We were able to jump her car, take it to Walmart, and replace her battery for $89.
      WE FIXED HER CAR FOR LESS THAN $100 AND THEY WERE TRYING TO CHARGE HER OVER $1100.
      Insane. Dont trust their b.s.
