My dad is in labor extensive work and had neglected his hernia for almost 10 years. It became large and painful and he was finally ready to feel better. This is a man who has never been to a doctors let alone has had surgery- to say he was nervous was an understatement! We flew him from Michigan as I live here in Florida and he met with Dr Yunis and had surgery the next day. He flew back 2 days later with no issue! He is two weeks post op and doing great. He is very pleased with the results and despite having minor pains still, he is very happy he finally got it done. Melanie has been incredible from start to finish helping me set everything up. My family and I are SO grateful to have been able work with Dr. Yunis and his team. They are top notch.

Very knowledgeable and honest doctor who saved me from unnecessary surgery! The ladies in scheduling are wonderful and prompt as well. Would absolutely recommend to anyone! Thank you Dr. Yunis!

Oh my gosh this doctor is awesome. If you need hernia surgery go here. The doctor you choose matters and this doctor really cares. Im 14 days after a no mesh surgery and swelling is all down snd Im back to normal self. Fantastic job. Its like it never even happened. Also want to mention how nice every single person was at his office and surgery center.

This office has one of the most unprofessional office managers I have yet to deal with and I have called many hernia doctors during my time researching surgeons. After speaking with the office manager, I felt she was quick to get off the phone and a little bit rude so I wrote an email to the office. Within a few minutes this office manager calls me back to basically lecture me about my email and how I was wrong for how I felt I was treated. Compassionate care is one of the most important things I look for when choosing a surgeon because any surgery can be very scary and intimidating. The last thing you want to deal with is someone who is clearly in a bad mood, having a bad day or just has an off putting personality and doesnt want to do their job. Hopefully they can find a person who is better at dealing with people because this is peoples first contact when deciding on a surgeon.

I have reached just under 800,000 views of my reviews and this one is probably the most important for me personally. I saw Dr. Yunis to consult for possible bilateral mesh removal.
I would give him 100 stars if it was possible. Dr. Yunis is an extraordinary human being. He was compassionate, understanding and so kind. What struck me most is how humble, yet confident he is about his surgical abilities.
He will be removing a very difficult and dangerous mesh I have suffered with since January 9, 2019. He is also the first out of four surgeons willing to go through with my surgery. He warned me of the dangers but I am willing to take the chance in order to get my life back.
I trust him 100% and believe with all my heart that he will be careful, precise and successful. He promised he was going to give me a new life and that comment made me, a 53 year old man cry.
Doctor Yunis, thank you so much on behalf of my family and myself. His PA, Mandy was just as kind and compassionate as he was. She listened intently and was very patient with all my blabbering.
Upon checking out, Danielle gave me all the information I needed and asked for me to call her if there was anything I didn't understand with my case. From the beginning to the end, all of these people were priceless gems.
Update- Dr Yunis and Mandy were able to successfully remove all the ProGrip Mesh and I am utterly surprised that it was done to absolute perfection! I can't wait until I heal to feel the results. I give them the Humanitarian Award for their perfection, professionalism and care for their patients. You will not regret getting your medical care from them! Just amazing!!!
