First of all let me just warn you first time home buyers of new construction. There will be growing pains, setbacks, and delays along with happy moments and joyful times. It is not all rosy and wonderful all the time. This is true of any builder living on planet earth. This was my first time building a new construction home where I was able to add and subtract my two cents on how I wanted my home built so that I would end up with my dream home. I was scared because I didn't know what to expect. I compare the experience to giving birth. You go through all that pain while in labor, but when it is over, you walk away with your baby/home in hand. You forget about all the pain; you feel as though it was all worth it. With that being said, my overall experience with Homecrete Home has been positive. I would recommend this company because they all worked together as a team to get the job done. For example, my sales agent was Jolaine Justin who was very helpful from the beginning to the end. I lived in a different state while my home was being built, so when I would come to town to visit the model, Jolaine would sometimes be vacation or just not in the office. The other agent, Josh, who had nothing to gain by helping me would answer any questions I had and make suggestions on color schemes. Greg was always nice and accommodating whenever I encountered him. Melissa works in the office at Homecrete. She did her best to keep me informed and up to date on everything. She always responded to my emails in a timely fashion. Brian, who is the VP, made sure all of my changes were implemented. He went over everything with a fine tooth comb leaving no stone unturned. Randy, who is the Manager of construction, listened to my concerns and did everything in his power to address them. He even took the initiative on two occasions and it turned out beautifully. If something was going to look crazy, he would bring it to my attention before he followed through with it. I really appreciated that. Taylor, who was my Super, was outstanding! He kept me informed, and he answered any questions I had during the actual building process. Taylor is patient, professional, and kind hearted. Lastly, my home had minor issues that I found during the walk-thru. I also found some after the walk-thru. All issues were address and repaired. Homecrete is currently working on the last issue which is scratches on my mirrors. One mirror has been replaced and the other mirrors will be repaired or replaced as well. The scatches were caused by the cleaning crew, and Homecrete still took responsibily to make sure I was satisfied. They sent a team of people to my home to access the damage and devise a plan of action. Homecrete not only built me a beautiful, quality, home, but they also stood behind their work by honoring their home warranty. I absolutely love my new home!
