The Jellyfish - Seafood Restaurant and Bar

Went for lunch. Service was fantastic, food was so-so. My wife had fish tacos that were very fishy. I had fish and chips, and the fries were the best part of the meal. The fish was 50% breading, very little meat, very little flavor. I would have actually preferred Captain D's.

This was our first time trying Jellyfish - Seafood, so we have no other experiences here to compare with this one. We are staying at one of the condo buildings across the street and liked the idea of walking to dinner (@ 6:00 PM Sunday). Food: Something for everyone, but flavors did not "wow" for the price Service: Somewhat slow, way too pushy on alcoholic / bar items Atmosphere: This is 5 stars ... fun Florida theme, fish tank, outdoor seating that faces the Gulf, etc... Vegetarian options: yes Parking: plenty, if the shops/businesses are closed Wheelchair accessibility: there is an elevator, but seating options would be limited

Our waitress Jen was awesome. The Bourbon salmon was best I have had.

My wife and I went there for date on vacation. We avoided going with the family because it always seemed like a long wait, but for two of us we were seated immediately. The service was pretty good, our waiter was really nice. There's lots of choices for food, I went with the shrimp and grits and my wife went with fish tacos. The seafood was fresh and tasty, but the rest was ok. All in all we had a nice dinner with good food. The prices were a bit high but not offensive and where what I considered reasonable given the circumstances
