    please folks do not do business with this company.... everything I tell you in the beginning sounds all nice but it's all lies.... they will change the price on you so quick and overcharge you.... and when you need service good luck they don't have any technicians to do the repairs when their equipment fails .. and they get you with the financing you're in a trap. it seems to me like the company has run by teenagers who do not know what they're doing. do yourself a favor go with any other security company.

    Worst alarm company ever, I don't recommend Vivint to anyone, friends, or family. Vivint debited my account for over $400.00 without my permission, without my authorization, and without my consent for the alarm installed January 25, 2024. There is no explanation for the additional charges at all. I have sent the NOTICE OF CANCELLATION out to Vivint on January 26, 2024. I have no protection for our home, and to make matters worse no protection for a senior citizen hospice patuent we care for. Buyer beware when dealing with Vivint, they definitely pulled the switch and bait on me and my family.

    I am very disappointed in Vivint having come from ADT, we were promised the same things we had previously been getting just newer equipment and updated technology. This whole experience has frustrating and I feel Vivint is a fraud. To start the system DOES NOT work with Amazon Echo. The salesman, technician, and customer service said it does until finally someone from customer service explained it does not work with Alexa after pointing out the multiple reviews in the App Store where it says it doesnt work with Alexa. With this system because they have no key pad sound extenders you CANNOT hear when your doors open unless you are on the first floor. I told the technician I needed that. He said we will get you together. The only way to hear if your door opens is by receiving a notification on your phone that a door opened. As I shared with the technician and customer service rep I should not have to walk around with my phone in hand to know whats going on downstairs. Or if there are others in my home without the app on their phone they shouldnt be oblivious to doors opening downstairs because they dont have the app as well as any minor children without phones. I had to threaten to cancel the system unless they put a remote keypad in other parts of my home as I shouldnt have to only be able to set or unset my alarm from my phone. The keypads are very cheap and dont alert me when a door or window is opened. Lastly, the salesman assured us how much they would by our contract out for but then when it was time to pay out they paid us less. I reached out to customer service and told them what my salesman said. They said they had to call the salesman who never called them back and said they couldnt approve the amount because he didnt put it in his notes. The rep also said that amount they never approve and quoted the standard amount. I had to go through my ring camera to pull the clip where the salesman stated the amount and send it to the customer rep for the correct buy out amount to be approved. BEWARE when considering Vivint!!!!

    Twice the same guy trespassed on my private property. The first time he waved at me when I looked out door window, I ignored him, and he went away. This next time he tapped on the screen door many times. Again I ignored him and he went away. He wore an ID tag, with Vivant on its neck chain. If I had a need for a security system I would look up companies online. This unlawful trespassing and harassment is uncalled for. This is another garbage company, desperate for business, and sending out someone to disturb folks at their home. Good reputable companies do not commit such unlawful acts.
