AdventHealth Medical Group Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Orlando

It's been nine months and I still haven't had any prescriptions from them yet. They ask for blood work lap I did it they said they didn't receive anything about my lab work yet it's been 6 months since I did my lab work. Last visit we didn't receive anything but one of the nurses found it but not my actual doctor smh my doctor don't take accountability at all he comes to look at me than ask I'm I ok I say no Everytime I see him he's respond is ok I'll see you in three to four months because they have to reschedule and add one more month. They told me ok we're going to put in some orders for me. I call pharmacy they say no sir your empty.

If I could give no stars I would. Horrible patient care. There were patients waiting upwards of 3 hours. I arrived 45 minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment. An hour and a half after my appointment time I asked for my refund and walked out. They were stating that infusions were being done in one of the rooms and that they have over scheduled and over booked. Excuses. As soon as you walk in they demand you pay your co pay up front but could less if you actually see the doctor. Advent Health cares about one thing and one thing only. Profits. Just another number. The fact that this company calls themselves a religious organization is laughable. Thanks but no thanks. Ill go to Orlando Health moving forward.

A gentleman by the name of Wes answered the phone when I called for an appointment. He went above and beyond to get an appointment for me on very short notice. His kindness and helpfulness was exactly what I needed. Thanks Wes.

If you're coming in for a procedure that will yield a specimen for examination by a pathologist, beware this office. They're partnered with Central Florida Pathology Associates, who have 29 one-star reviews on Google for a reason. You are as likely to be sent to collections for a bill you didn't know existed than you are to have any results from their office whatsoever. Ask specific questions before you schedule a procedure here. If they had any integrity, they'd remove CFPA from their circle of contractors.

I went for an endoscopy waited 4 months for an appointment. The office said they needed more info from my primary dr. Did not seem it should take that long. I was concerned because other tests showed I had an enlarged bile duct. When appointment time came I was told to be there at 8:45 and my procedure would be at 10:30. We arrived on time and waited until 11: 00 just to go to pre-op. The nurse could not get IV started tried twice and caused pain. She had to call another nurse Ramone who was able to insert the IV with no problems. Once he left no one came to check and see if we needed anything or to see if I was ok. We waited until 12:00 for a 10:30 procedure crazy ! After procedure we waited for over an hour with no results from DR . When I asked why he has not come to talk to us they said he was in surgery and he would come in after that. It was now at least 1:30 or 2:00 and I told the nurse I was leaving on my own this was crazy to make us wait. Terribly inconsiderate of them. I said I walk out with or without your assistance. no more waiting. Hungry, thirsty and very upset. She did check with the DR in the OR (not that it mattered to me) and he said it was ok to leave. Horrible experience. I have had many experiences in the hospital (Holmes) and NEVER had such inconsiderate people who do not keep you informed and seem to care.
