Being new to SW Florida, and being in my new construction home for 10 months, its time to have my AC unit serviced. I called a company before Family Air. They came out and talked me into a very expensive UV system since I have been having sinus issues. They sent an estimate the next day with one lump some, with nothing broken down as to where the monies would be applied. When I asked for the estimate to break down the charges, there was no response. Fast forward to today, I called Family Air. I received a next day appointment. I inquired about the UV system, and was transferred to the owner, Steve. He talked me out of the UV system until they had a chance to clean the system. At that point if I was still having sinus issues after cleaning because of a possible indoor air quality issue, then they could recommend a UV system. It's very rare to have a company have this kind of honesty, especially with the trades I have dealt with this last 10 months of ownership of a new home. Steve was honest, up front and talked me out of an expensive purchase until we could figure out of it was needed. This kind of honesty and integrity earns my business for life! Thank you Steve!
