Sunrise Van and Car Rental

This review is based on customer service or lack there of. I recently October 2022, reserved a van for my husband and his friends who was flying in to celebrate his birthday. Went to the address online and there was just a mailbox. Called the number on the reservation and was ridiculed for not calling after I made the reservation online. I expressed to the agent that I reserved online and no where on the reservation does it indicate to call to confirm. Nevertheless, we were told that because we did not follow up we may not receive a vehicle. Also, the agent would have to call the owner to see of there was any vehicles available because of the hurricane. The agent expressed that if I was still interested he would get a vehicle towed to me but he had to call the owner first Later I received one follow up call and was told the owner was on vacation maybe hanging out by the pool so he would continue to call and let me know. That was end of that no follow up, we had to manage to get around town for my husbands birthday the best way we could. I am leaving this review for future people looking for a honest reputable company. THIS AIN'T IT

Do not be fooled by any other reviews. Place is some sort of rental broker with poor customer service. Called to confirm how to pick up the van they sent me a reservation confirmation for and they advised me they had nothing. Apparently somewhere on their website you have to "firm" up the reservation to see if they can find something for you, but this is nowhere on the Reservation confirmation they send you. Plus mentioned they had changed pricing recently so they couldn't honor as confirmed no matter what. A great way to ruin vacation plans by assuming they are running a legit rental business.

I rented a van from sunrise van rental to take my family to North Carolina to visit family and my experience with this company could not have been better. When we arrived to pick up the van the process was very easy and efficient. The van performed amazing and had no issues on our trip. With the whole COVID-19 situation happening now in the world, we felt very safe as the van was throughly cleaned and disinfected prior to our arrival. I would definitely rent from them again.
