EMA Performed a visual structural assessment for our apartment building in Melbourne, Florida. We had issues with the second-floor ceiling cracks. EMA pinpointed areas of concern. The report was extensive and professional, which made the contractor take into consideration of all the concrete cracking and spalling issues.

Called to inquire about a quote for residential structural inspection. The gentleman quoted me almost one thousand dollars for an inspection. Thats three times higher than a couple of other quotes I received. When I asked why their prices were so much higher, he hung up on me. If thats not a red flag about their customer service, I dont know what is.
Update: I can see that the owner responded and claimed I was trying to get a free inspection and am a freeloader. I think the response is pretty telling in terms of the type of business hes running, but just to be clear I never asked for a free inspection. His prices are 3 times above the market average and he didnt like that I called him out on it. Be better, dude.

I called for a quote. I was given one number in an email response, but when the actual quote showed up it was almost $400 higher. I was then told no ACH, wire or electronic payments. Only cash or personal check (Red Flag). I needed it done so I opted to move forward. A week later I got a call out of the blue saying the engineer was on the way to the site and I needed to leave my business right then to be at the site with cash. I told them I was with a client and could not leave immediately, and was it possible to set a time that we both agreed with. After weeks of waiting for a response, calls, and emails with no word I decided to leave this review. Buyer beware.

EMA did a roof truss damage assessment and prepared the repair drawings for permits. They were the only engineers, where we were able to talk to an engineer directly, who listened to our issues, guided us through the procedure, and then helped us get the issues fixed. Thank you, EMA

EMA performed a thorough structural inspection for our Hotel's roof and prepared all the repair plans and details within our budget and time. We are happy with their work and recommend them.
