JAKS Designs & Project Management

This was our very first renovation - worst possible time (PANDEMIC). We didn’t know what we were getting in to. We hired Designs by JAKS for the project to basically take the house down to the studs. We selected the company because they have engineers and architects in house. Dan Bendix and his team are highly professional and willing to explain things in a digestible manner. Any time problems or delays came up, they’d be communicating it rapidly. We value their attention to detail most over everything else. Dan had no problem making sure to give correcting direction to subs that did not perform to our standards. We would highly recommend Designs by JAKS to anyone.

It's very rare to find a company that does architecture, all engineering such as structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. They also do energy calculations and build. With everything all inclusive for design and build for my large home, you can't find anyone that will compete with price for the same level of service. I'm a General Contractor and Civil Engineer and I looked very hard for a company to meet all my expectations for my totally custom home. Dan is the main contact for Jaks and almost always answers the phone for me at all times of the day even after hours many times.

I scheduled an appointment for 10:30 am today 9/17/20. I called and ask however he was having car problems. You would think he would call to inform me! He didn’t. I spoke to another gentleman and told him if there is anyway to come this afternoon. He called back and said “ they don’t have anything available”. Didn’t offer or even tried to come up with a solution. Could care less. NEWS FLASH!! MY FATHER WAS THE FOUNDER OF THE VETERANS HISPANIC ASSOCIATION IN BREVARD COUNTY GOING STRONG 27 YEARS!! WORD OF MOUTH IS THE BEST ADVERTISEMENT!! IM A VETERAN MYSELF! TRUST ME YOUR LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM, ATTITUDE WILL BE KNOWN IN THE COMMUNITY!!! You had a guarantee job! Unbelievable how you dismissed me

I signed a contract with Dan in Decemeber of 2019, We paid him in full and within 7 months he did nothing but lie and waist time. He will tell you anything to get your business and then once he gets your money he doesnt care. Stay away from this company. You have been warned.
